My fine artwork is deeply rooted in my personal lived experiences
and a desire to contribute beauty and hope to my community, and to our world.
Processing my emotions through art
Themes
I draw a lot of inspiration from processing my own emotional journey, observing, and playing with colors, light, and shadow.
My practice is deeply tied to my surroundings in New York City
and wherever I go.
My art is tethered to my interests in social justice and advocating for mental health.
RISE AND CelebratE
My work explores assertion and celebration as a way to improve quality of life.
I aim to focus on the abundance, harmony, and spiritual connection that I want to enjoy and share.
Justice IS KEY
I explicitly use my art as a call to action and a symbol of gratitude for community.
Nature and Spirit
I make a lot of self portraits examining my personal identification with nature, viewing myself, trees and landscapes as symbols of spirituality, stamina, strength, and nurturing.
Everyday Wonder
My art tends to act as autobiographical narrations of pivotal moments in my life, documenting fleeting presence, and connecting me with my feelings.
I invite you to have a look at some of my paintings and drawings:
My Artist Statement
I respectfully acknowledge the Lenape people
and all traditional owners of the territories where I walk, live, and create.
I pay my respects to all First Nations elders past, present, and emerging.
My work explores the duality of personal identity
navigating the space between deep community and profound isolation—while acting as a visual heartbeat for liberation movements.
My creative practice is an act of imagination and resistance
I make a lot of autobiographical art as a practice of healing and a mirror to our times.
I carry a deep moral obligation to denounce fascism and genocide
As a grandchild of Nazi holocaust survivors and daughter of an immigrant, I always stand with people.
I am in solidarity with those who are oppressed, and against the exterminations in Gaza, Congo, Sudan, and Yemen.
I harmonize with resistance to oppression.
I advocate for social justice and human rights.
My practice is dedicated to:
MUTUAL AID
Activity for community care
ABOLITION
Dreaming of a world where we compost the prison industrial complex
DECOLONIZATION
Supporting Land Back initiatives and reparations for Indigenous and Black communities
GLOBAL LIBERATION
Resisting colonialism, imperialism, and settler occupation
INTERSECTIONALITY
Uplifting the sacredness of trans and queer lives
